The PGNAETA Reaching Home Division has developed a Community Plan (CP) to help address homelessness and determine what work will continue to be undertaken in the design and implementation of coordinated access in the community of Prince George.
One of the components of the CP indicates our allocation of funding towards housing placement in the forms of prevention and shelter diversion, client support services, capital investments, and coordination of resources and data collection. We also identify other funding sources in the community that are available to address homelessness.
The CP includes details regarding how the Guiding Team participated in the development and approval of the plan, which voluntary outcomes would be reported in the Community Homelessness Report, and the measures undertaken to meet the Official Language Minority Communities’ needs.
The PGNAETA Reaching Home Division are honoured to work, live and play on the unceded traditional and ancestral territory of the Lheidli T’enneh First Nation.
