Regional Advisory Board

Our Regional Advisory Board (RAB) is the local organizing committee responsible for setting the direction and priorities for addressing homelessness in Rural and Remote British Columbia.

The RAB is composed of individuals with lived and living experience, Indigenous knowledge holders, service providers, dedicated professionals, and community leaders who contribute invaluable perspectives and in-depth knowledge of the sectors and systems that affect homelessness in their regions. Through their collective expertise, RAB members use a community-based approach to ensure funding decisions are informed by local realities, regional priorities, and practical solutions.

Roles and responsibilities of Members:

• Maintain contact with individuals and organizations in their sector for the purpose of sharing information and identifying sector issues related to the RAB objectives and activities.
• Attend all RAB meetings.
• If unable to attend a RAB meeting, advise the Community Entity (CE) or the Chair
• Request permission through the CE or the Chair for an alternate to attend a meeting.
• Advise the CE or the Chair in writing when resigning from the RAB.
