Housing & Outreach Services / Warming Centre
Association Advocating for Women and Community
The Housing and Outreach Services project assists clients in completing housing applications and wherever possible in securing housing for individuals and families. Workers connect with clients and individuals providing direct engagement and dispensing drinks, sandwiches and treats. Other connections include transportation, agency referrals and client follow-ups.
The Warming Centre, funded from December 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025, provides a safe warm shelter overnight during the winter season for clients on the street or those with nowhere else to go. The program will provide hot drinks, soups and snacks.
