Housing Success

We saw the completion of one resident’s journey with our program.  This resident had started over 3 years ago as a client at Connect and accessed the overnight shelter when it was created.  From there they became housed at the Travelodge in our Covid response housing.  While residing there they became sober from substances and began attending College.  After transitioning to The Lodge housing, this person found employment in the community using the education they had acquired.  This quarter they moved from The Lodge supportive housing into a brand-new BC Housing independent living building run by Comox Valley Transition Society (CVTS) where they pay 20% below market value for rent on their own one-bedroom apartment.  This person has journeyed with CVTS for many years and their progress is the inspiration that keeps up all moving forward.

The PGNAETA Reaching Home Division are honoured to work, live and play on the unceded traditional and ancestral territory of the Lheidli T’enneh First Nation.
