KUU-US provides food hampers, educational material, fresh produce, outdoor gear and clothes as part of our Outreach Programs.  Our Tenant Support Worker goes to the West Coast once a month to assist our tenants with their personal, educational and basic needs. Our project deliveries are developed to suit the needs of Ucluelet, Tofino and the remote Indigenous communities of the area, as each community has their own unique needs. KUU-US continues to provide food hampers, fresh fruit and veggies as well as, outdoor gear as needed. Along with providing educational material to aid in promoting cultural awareness, life skills and our outreach services.

We have developed good working relationships with Social and Outreach workers on the West Coast which has allowed us to reach more residents.  Our statistical numbers have increased considerably since we began collaborating with all the other organizations.  We are continuing to build our clientele in remote areas.  We have reached out to the surrounding Nations and are in the process of collaborating services.  We have successfully created a regular monthly outreach service to the remote communities of Opitsaht, Ty-Histanis, Esowista, Hitacu, Ditidaht and Macoah, where we deliver fresh food and essentials to families of the community.  Our goal for the spring is to deliver fresh food to the very isolated communities of Hesquiaht.
